The climate crisis affects all of us. But together we can solve it. That is why Al Gore created the “Truth in 10” slideshow, a 10-minute presentation anyone can use to share the truth of what’s happening to our planet and the solutions in our hands. The presentation breaks down the science of global warming and how rising greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels lead to more and more extreme weather events and impacts from rising seas to fast-spreading disease. Just as important, “Truth in 10” explains how we can solve this crisis and create a better future for all with a just transition to clean energy, using the tools and technology here today. All in simple and easy-to-understand terms any audience can follow.

Ten stories, each inspired by one of the ten commandments.

The tale of two brothers, Moses and Ramses: united by love, divided by destiny, they lead their two nations in an epic struggle between slavery and liberty. The Hebrews were slaves in Egypt 3,300 years ago. When Moses, a Hebrew baby raised as a brother to the Egyptian prince, learned of his true origins, he was thrust into a new life, leading his people to freedom.

The film was produced by Nick Higgins from Lansdowne Productions and Noémie Mendelle from the Scottish Documentary Institute and has 10 film-chapter directors for each of the 10 chapters of the film. The film's unifying theme is human rights in Scotland with each chapter illustrating one of the "New Ten Commandments" - 10 articles chosen from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
